Ionian University with a 40-year history operation, based in the city of Corfu, Greece, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, consists of five Faculties and ten Departments, located in Corfu (its seat) and in three other Ionian sea islands: Kefalonia, Zakynthos, and Lefkada.
All departments are involved with International Collaborations and Erasmus+ agreements, proving its serious extraversion, responsible personnel, engaged Professors and the institution’s outward-looking character.
Studies abroad/or teach and work with the Erasmus+ Programme:
This program allows students to study or do an internship abroad and learn foreign languages at about 250 partner universities with which Ionian University cooperates (https://sites.ionio.gr/international/en/ ). Also, teaching and administrative staff move across Europe and the world, to study, teach or train and work within the framework of an internship.
Internships: During their undergraduate studies, students can complete training for two months in public or private institutions in any city of Greece under the guidance of an employee of the host institution and the supervision of faculty members from Ionian University.
